The Bronx could also be the Bronco.
Brooklyn: Crouplyn.
Staten Island: Stuten Island (“Stuten” = German for “mares”).

The best one I can come up with is New Cheval (it means “horse” in French).
Well for Brooklyn, I think Berrichon (it’s an extinct breed of horse) might work, but the best I can come up with for Staten Island is Stirrup Island.
All I’ve seen or can think of is New Horsleans, which is pretty meh. How about names for the Five Boroughs (Burros?). We already have Manehattan, but how about:
The Bronx: The Broncs
Queens: Princesses, since Equestrian and Hasbro don’t have Queens (unless they are evil)
Brooklyn and Staten Island: no idea! Anyone?
Nice. Now if only I was witty enough to make a horse-based pun for New Orleans.
New Jockey and Delamare?
To be fair though, they get the short-shrift in real life as well.
