Actually the comics are clearly aimed at a more mature audience than the show. That’s one of the main reasons they were made, to give us older fans something.
Of course! She has power over Dark magic but not all dark magic is evil. I depends on how the user uses it.
Yes and no. She hardly has dominion of souls, but her powers seem to carrry a wide birth of dark magic that is still not pure evil or satanic magic.
However one CAN say she controls the crossroads of people’s souls…she doesn’t just enter people’s randon dreams, she enters the dreams that have the most meaning and difference to their current state and their future.

With the power she displayed in Luna Eclipsed, its implied that besides controlling the moon, her powers include the ability to control weather and…monster magic? Something along those lines, don’t have a better word for it. Like being able to turn plush spiders into real spiders, enter ponies’ dreams and turn ponies into bat-pony guards, she controls that kind of ‘Transylvanian’ magic without being a monster herself. (unless she loses control of the darkness in her heart)
Implying that Princess Luna in the normal universe isnt also a vampire, a good one at that, but still with all of those bat pony guards she has?

They’re probably the family’s eyes and ears. Also, any pony name can be a stripper/prostitute name in some degree.
You can see some “CMC” Graffiti on the wall. I could them as a street gang in this world.

I like the gangster/mob theme in the apple ‘family’. Godmother Smith and her Lieutenant Big Macintosh. Applejack’s probably an underboss.
