Um, well let us see. Celestia tearfully has a breakdown after she is caught repeatedly visiting a certain world, causing her to shout “At least let me say goodbye!” in a tearful display before Star Swirl closes the gate.
 
She then becomes VERY defensive in this page when the Mane 6 suggest that she was attacked by Sombra. It isn’t outright stated, but it is a logical assumption that they had SOME kind of a relationship.
 
Now, of course, it won’t take. We’ll just have to see how it plays out.
