See, you tell me there is no vendetta against Pinkie, and then you go ahead contradict yourself. You can have a vendetta against a character you like. You’re obviously doing it. No one would have made that observation without something to base it off.
 
Pinkie isn’t always terribly sensitive to other’s feelings. See Cranky, Party of One, The Last Roundup, et al. Remember the phrase “Pinkie Pie, you’re SOOO random!” Well, she’s still random, only difference is it’s genuinely funny instead of being quirky for the sake of establishing a character. The only rule she ever needed follow is the Rule of Funny.

It wasn’t about what she said but how she said it. she went up a pole got a megaphone and basically shouted “HEY CHECK OUT THIS BALD GUY LOOK AT HIS BALDNESS!” that’s not cool at all.

a)I just don’t share the same opinion as you that she’s been so horribly bastardized as you say she has. Not enough for me to give that much of a fuss about it, anyway. and  
b)I’m just not the kind of person who feels voicing his opinions on the internet will get any writer of any tv show to change their writing style drastically enough to make a difference. I’m under the impression most television writers follow their own vision and seldom take much negative feedback like this to heart enough to make a significant change.  
But by all means, if you feel like you can make any difference, send all of these writers your personal letters of concern regarding Pinkie’s personality.  
I simply do not see what all of the fuss is about.

Pinkie haters and special snowflakes? Did either of you even watch the previous 3 seasons? People have no vendetta against Pinkie. Infact many people who call out her terrible characterization are like me, huge Pinkie lovers. It’s because we think she’s a great character that it gets us so mad that she’s being written for so poorly. I can’t stand that people are even making crap up, saying she’s done this before. NO SHE HAS NOT. She did it ONCE and it wasn’t even the same thing when she did it with Cranky. Rainbow Dash is the one who ought to be saying these lines. I liked the “You sound like a dude” line it was funny, but it came out of the wrong mouth.
 
All these new writers coming in seems to have badly affected Pinkie. But these past few season 4 episodes have been great! Favorite being Pinkie Pride, for it’s PERFECT characterization. So there’s still hope for her this season. You guys need to stop defending the writers everytime they screw up though. We’re Bronies, but we shouldn’t automatically love every episode and consider them all flawless.
