Oh god, don’t even joke about that. I write Java code for my job.
I know, but it’s a massive pet peeve of mine. There’s a specific syntax at work, and ignoring it can mean that the card flat-out doesn’t work. It’s like writing a Java script and intentionally using any semicolons.
Honestly? Almost half of all custom Magic cards I see have really shitty wording.
Equipment is a subtype, and thus is capitalized.
Equipment can’t be attached to noncreatures.
Objects don’t receive abilities, they gain them.
Creatures can’t be attached to other permanents.
Any effect that doesn’t end at some explicit point is assumed to be permanent.
