I think it’s more of a culture clash. Certain groups of people think certain traits are undesirable.
Apparently because somehow not a single damn one of them had ever come across the fact that the distant, mysterious, and seemingly unattainable is inherently alluring and intriguing.
They didn’t try to make her “scary”, just incredibly strange, distant, and unlikeable (without acting like a bitch). Needless to say, they failed. Hard.
Really?! And they expected her to be scary making her adorable as fuck?
