She’s dead.
In one of the last scenes a dead main character floats into the sky as a ghost(more likely an angel) with a beautiful luminescent glow. Also, Hinny(or whatever her name is) is most likely dead in this scene, let that just sink in.
Maybe the plot involves an Earth Pony flying? A Pegasus Pony flying is nothing special, but an Earth Pony would be.
