I think that the only thing that could make this better would be a background. Namely, a wide open field, a picnic mat, and their discarded clothes to the side.

Gotta love Ambris’ style. It kinda makes everything acceptable and sweet, even the more touchy aspects of the shipping themes. Like… some ships are more your thing, some are less. That’s ok to have personal preferences. What matters is… love. Or, more precisely, the sense, feeling of love and acceptance and consentuality which kinda makes every and any ship out there OTP. Because it’s love, and it’s fun, and if it’s mutual, it’s always good, no matter what social taboos are broken. There is like, something fundamentally innocent about them.  
Something along this lines. I have a hard time translating it into words. But it also (as I think) is something that is so endearing about ponies in general. It’s like they are fundamentally incapable of evil, unblemished… they know no sin because they are kinda like humans in the garden of Eden… Because whatever pony would do, they would never exploit each other sexually. Kinda takes away the stigmas that are associated with different kinds of relations and turns it into something heartfelt and endearing and arousing and - most importantly - fun for all involved.  
And that makes all the topics, banned in human sexuality, acceptable here. It’s kinda escapist fantasy thing. Yeah, probably. Still, it’s so cute <3  
P.S. Why this image doesn’t have the tag “cute porn” baffles me
