Not so much “bloodlust”, I think, as “realist”. The way I figure it, having lived among animals nearly all her life, Fluttershy is probably the least squeamish of the ponies, maybe even less so than Applejack. It’s just that she’s so shy around ponies that none of them realize how brutally matter-of-fact she can be when it comes to the realities of nature.
As a quiet person myself, I find those prejudices extraordinarily infuriating.
In general, you are looking at “Loners are Freaks” and “Beware the Nice Ones” in a single package. Your impression is the typical judgement of a human being. So, no, there’s nothing wrong in the justification of your thought, instinctually speaking.
