Funny, I just saw a post somewhere recently.
It basically said how Fluttershy is also an underdog. She’s the loser of the group. So fans might pity her to an extent and give her those attributes because they want to see her succeed at something even if it’s just beauty. And I agree.
It’d be depressing if there were some flat chest Fluttershy jokes. I think people see themselves in Fluttershy even if male.
I remember seeing Twist still look conventionally unsightly in the timeskip and that kind of made me sad like she deserved to be beauty and maybe a spoiled popular brat should have been the ugly one.

I still kind of wonder why they target Fluttershy; does her well-endowment make them THAT envious…? It just doesn’t entirely add up to me.

Insults you say? You mean things like calling people butthurt, deluded fools, or silly just to try to undermine their reasoning, along with accusing them of their reasoning not holding any merit or being fueled by wrath or envy with nothing to back them up other than their own word?

I don’t think so. I haven’t categorized people who disagree with me as a group not related to the discussion lately. Haven’t tried to discredit their reasons as wrath or envy either.
