The final piece in the G5 wave of PLUR is Magic.
I’ve had a few ideas regarding Hitch, since he’s a unique case being the only member of the mane 6 to be male. But Hitch is far from toxically masculine, sure he can be a bit full of himself in the movie, but in the series, it seems some of his more macho habits are fading, and replaced with a much more laid-back personality, as well as a bit more of a flamboyant flair. So naturally, I wanted to portray that flamboyancy in his outfit.
With this, one went all out with the gay-man vibe for this, giving him a tight pair of shorts, showing off his muscles, and covering him in body-glitter. I’m really happy with how it turned out, because it well reflects Hitch’s personality in a more upfront kind of way.
And yes, I’m basically calling Hitch gay.
As for the future of PLUR Is Magic, since I’ve covered just about every main character, I’ll be branching off towards other characters who I think have a lot of potential for this series. I’ll also be revisiting all characters I’ve already done, remastering their portraits or redesigning their outfits. But I’ll get to that when I get to that, meanwhile, I think I’m gonna focus back on other projects for now. Thank you all who have showed your support for this little art series of mine, it’s been a blast to work on.
