Well, some things age well (like Stetson) and some don’t. It might be a subjective thing, but here you go.
My guy, it’s a family heirloom of her dead grandaunt. Who cares if it makes her look “old” or “out of style” if anything, it adds more to the charm and sentimental significance of it. Like Applejack’s Stetson hat that belonged to her father.
To an extent, it kind of is, if AB is wearing it on regular basis at her current age. I wouldn’t mind if she wore it when she was starting to show old age, but while she is still fairly young it makes her look either older than she actually is or look like she stayed in old times for much longer than she should.

Perhaps. But the “stuck in their time” aspect is still there.
Considering that it used to be Aunt Goldie Delicious’s, yeah. But you can’t fault Apple Bloom for wanting to show off an Apple Family heirloom.
