[Beyond our Borders] - Luna
Finally the second princess done ;w; I’m very happy with her mane, it’s EXACTLY how I imagined it to look like in my head! I wanted to try and capture that misty feel of the night, since when I think of nighttime I think of it being chilly, misty, dark and damp so I wanted to make her mane look like it would be cold if you would drag your hand through it. To me I think it looks pretty neat.
I did remove the tailfeathers temporarily as it would cover a bit too much of the details. Both Luna and Celestia have tailfeathers, just like any other pegasus in this AU. So this isn’t 100% accurate since it’s mostly to just get their general mane designs and body structure done.
I’m thinking of doing a general design for Cadence as well but I’m still unsure as she’s not exactly as fun to modify design-wise. However I might do a new design for Flurry Heart since this comic takes place 10 years after the original show, so I’d imagine FLurry has most likely grown up to at least a filly. Depends on how her alicorn genes work (since alicorns become thousands and thousands of years old).
