I guess it’s because some of the songs admittedly get a bit repetitive, and/or are too short or too simple. Kinda like how you might’ve drawn a pretty cool building, but if you just did that the drawing looks empty.
I find it hard to articulate why since I’m not a music critic or anything, I just think it sucks. Yes it is a return to the harder sound of albums like Kill ’em All but none of it sounds right to me.

I like all if st anger(when I first herd the title track I hated it but the other singles(frantic dirty windo unnamed felling some kind if monster)I loved as soon as I heard them so about after a year of the albums release I went back and listions to st anger again and liked it
