On a less cheerful note, I think the distance is gonna make things suck. They’re not in the same world, which could make communicating, never mind meeting up, really tricky. And even if some transference thing happens and she latches onto ponyverse Flash as a surrogate for the Flash she actually has feelings for, he’s way the hell over in the Crystal Empire.
 
(And as much as SunLight may appeal to me, they’d run into pretty much the same issue worlds-wise, plus other problems that might be caused by Sunset Shimmer’s past, so their prospects aren’t so sunny either, if you’ll pardon the expression.)

As far as I’m concerned, it’s basically like this: Flash is pretty and Twilight is starting to discover there’s some things you can’t get from a book. Not likely it’ll go anywhere (did you marry your first boyfriend/girlfriend?), but let her have her fun.
