Not by intention. I’m not a ruiner of other people’s fun so I’m leaving it at that.
Lyra and Bon Bon are side characters. At their most explicit, they are placed in very small places a kid wouldn’t notice first hand. And even if they did, they tend to not care and focus on the main guys. Why do you think there isn’t a front and upmost episode about the two proposing and instead doing so in a background? Besides you already sound like those people.

Yeah, when people were mad about the season 9 finale hinting at AppleDash, I don’t think it was for shipping reasons.
Shipping is what ruins fandoms in the sense that it’s best not to appease these groups of people because they’ll be angry no matter what.
