I’d play Toad on just about all levels of SMB2. The ability to pull up 20+ coins in Sub-Con per level, and then turn those into beaucoup extra lives at the end of the level, made it worthwhile.

Exactly. =\ Sad state of gaming really, people bitching no matter what’s announced. What’s even funnier is how 3D World’s levels and bits of structure (minus the co-op) already remind me a lot of how Galaxy 2 was more of a “streamlined” experience compared to Galaxy 1. :P

Sadly some Mario fans seem to be turning into fans of a certain other gaming series… they ask for Galaxy 3, meaning they’re basically asking for Nintendo to reuse an old idea, and then complain when the game turns out to be something different. The problem has more to do with certain groups of gamers being the most insatiable or entitled people in the world. They bitch and moan when something is different, but then do the same thing if “it’s more of the same.”
I say… meh, my opinion matters to me at that’s about it.

PETA is a bunch of hypocrites anyway, they protest food companies for killing animals for meet but they so to animal shelters just to pick up animal they put down themselves.
Wonder if PeTA is going protest this. :P
Nice new power up. Also nice to see the Chargin’ Chuck (the koopa football players) and chestnut-goombas from “Super Mario World” return.
Even though I know Mario games aren’t very story-oritented, I’m curious what the “story” for the game is going to be if Peach isn’t getting kidnapped.
Loved 3D Land. Looking forward to playing this with my mates.
It’s fun being able to play REAL multiplayer that doesn’t involve seeing who can shoot who in the head first or killing the same monster with them for 5 hours.
