Another gift from my wonderful friend, Heartrender! She forgot Aegis’ wings, but-I’m grateful for her gift nonetheless!

Heartrender never learned to swim. That ends today.

“Alright, nice and slowly now,” Aegis reassured her, “I’m right here in case something happens. Which it won’t, probably.”

“Oh! The water’s cold!” Heart shivered a bit as bits of fur stood up on the back of her neck. She cautiously takes Aegis’ forehoof and follows him off the descent ladder into the pool.

“It’ll start to feel warmer the longer you’re in here. Are you ready to begin?”

“Yes, yes I am.” She utters quickly.

“Easy now, calm down, try to paddle with both your forelegs and hindlegs, like you’re galloping underwater. We’ll go from there, alright?”

Heartrender was never taught how to swim as a young filly. When Aegis heard about that he simply wasn’t going to stand for it, he took his new friend down to the local pool as soon as possible. She’s demonstrated to Aegis that she’s a quick study, our little hemokenetic friend seems to really enjoy it!
