obviously cloudchaser’s/stormwalker’s real name is luke skywalker. also, stormwalker is an epic name and should be given to a general or something because damn that’s a good name for someone that’s supposed to be full badass!

I’m gonna come up with some kind of awesome fanon for this.
 
Cloudchaser, already my favorite sexy badass of a background pony, now has a hilarious mary sue anime name. I am so, so, so okay with this.

You know, I think Stormwalker fits her and her mane more.  
But I think it’s too late, she’s universally known as Cloudchaser.

Ha,I guess I’ll take both names,then.

Hey, I kinda like the first one.  
I can dig Stormwalker being a title.

• Stormwalker is a title, some sort of honorific that Cloudchaser has or once had. (Suddenly she goes on epic quests with Mjolna)  
• Stormwalker is a group’s name and she’s part of it; could be like an in-universe Ashleigh Ball in that she has a band on the side.  
• Stormwalker is her actual name, (like Golden Harvest/Carrot Top) but she doesn’t like it; either one of her folks is a heavy metal fanatic or somepony wanted a son and the name didn’t change.  
• Stormwalker is a completely different pony, but whether it’s her brother, Thunderlane’s dad, or some kind of Mark Hamill pegasus is undefined.

I like the last name idea, I don’t think it sounds so well but if we are going for the most headcanaon that means now Flitter would be called Flitter Stormwalker, which I find to be a very odd yet very endearing name combination,

We need a mystery to solve to keep us occupied.

How about we just stick with Cloudchaser and call it a day?

It doesn’t roll of the tongue as nicely as Lyra Heartstrings.

I say we just stick with Cloudchaser. She had a different name earlier in production, and the book hasn’t been updated to reflect that change.
 
Also, “Cloudchaser Stormwalker” works terribly as a name.

Or we can do the Lyra approach

Those actually sound a little better than the originals.

Alternatively, stormwalker fell into a rift in timespace and fell into the universe where she then met her alternate universe double, named cloudchaser, and their beings fused together into one body.
