I see.
Honestly I’m into hooves but only in a safe way, so it works for me. I don’t get grimdark crushing (Aside from being realistic, but I mean this is a magic pony world) but I won’t hate anyone who’s into it.
Why do you like hooves? And particularly hoof crushing? Since you asked that, may as well give your opinion, right? ^^

Well, generally speaking people like hooves for similar reasons as to why they’d like feet. And usually they don’t share the same kinks because the shape.
I have friends who like paws, feet, hooves, talons, et cetera.

Don’t you draw hoof crushing pictures? Aren’t these also done in… Um… Grimdark versions? (not you of course, other artists)
