Wow. This is only the second place I’ve heard the word “quagga”, and the other one was an episode of Elementary where the species was briefly mistaken for a zebra until Holmes explained the difference. And call me late to the party, but I didn’t even know this site had a quagga tag.

I bet a wrong-species slur is rough enough, and it’s extra-cold to drop it while walking away. (…and Mopane’s hair-hidden lack of eye contact just makes it even MORE dismissive.)
