What does it mean?!?

Had the reverse happen, where I put in the clothes but forgot the liquid detergent. Ended up having to run another full cycle.

Took me a bit to know what was going on. Go to machine, fill, wait, open with surprise, hold basket…? Oh, wait, hidden basket still full of clothes.

I know you were following the original exactly, but maybe an extra panel or indication of the clothes being put in. Like she is “where’s my clothes?” then sees the basket full of clothes, then… pouring clothes while rolling her eyes?
