If I was financially irresponsible I would probably hire a voice actress to play Raven Inkwell and commission an animator to replace all the Fancy Pants scenes in Between Dark and Dawn with Raven Inkwell scenes.
It is the one episode in the entire show where she could have played a big role!
But… They gave that role to Fancy Pants…

Just so mad that she wasn’t in the movie…nor the finale…and was only in 4 episodes…
RAVEN NEEDS MORE SCREENTIME!!!
(Check how important she is in the comics–she’s pretty much the TRUE power behind Celestia’s Rule. (And is to Celestia what Spike is to Twilight; loyal and faithful assistant and hero!))

The movie style was so fantastic. It’s such a shame that only one official movie and a special was done out of the entirety of the show’s lifecycle when it captured the environment, characters, and personalities from the show so well. It definitely upped Spike’s adorableness too.

Well, crossover-parodies are kinda my jam. But for a long while I’d always envision Rarity for the role of Dethkok’s/Dethklop’s manager and lawyer seeing as both Offdenson and Rarity have a keen eye for business and a flare for the dramatic (if you ever watched Metalacalypse you’d probably know what I mean.) But Raven Inkwell seems to also have that in spades plus her color pallet seems similar to Offdenson’s i.e. hair color and red tie.
I can totally envision her ordering the Klopatears to “put the boot” to Doctor Bubbles…medium style.

Not far back enough… As it does not explain why she caught my eye when I first saw her next to Princess Celestia in the season three episode The Crystal Empire…
(She even appears in the show before that, in the season 2 episode Luna Eclipsed and I didn’t took notice of her then…)
To give you an idea of how much I have overthinked this:
I believe the reason why I love “aide characters” like Raven Inkwell so much is because, when I was 6 years old, I did my catechesis in the monastery where the aide of the first king of my country is buried. Learning about his story was probably the seed that blossomed into my love of Celestia’s own aide Raven Inkwell.
