Yeah. Spike seees much of Twylight in her. It rock if he apporve if a revived Twylight made Sunny her heir, seeing much of Twylight’s virtues in ehr thus making her the right one. The wrong one migh abuse power for personal gain. But Sunny’s virtuous so she’d use ehr powers for the benefit of others.

Mdash with his leaks have revealed that a moon is a year in Equestria, although it should be said that a year in the world - Equus as some call it - can be shorter or longer than a year in our world. So if he had slept for a thousand moons, and it is possible that he had woken up a hundred years before when the dragons were last observed at the pegasi, then that means that over a thousand years have passed. Maybe more, because Twilight had been gone for probably several centuries. And judging by Spike’s behavior, it is possible that he is convinced that Twilight is no longer available in the world, but also that she is not dead. His remarks about Skyros, Opaline and finally Sunny as a princess may indicate that he knows more about the alicorns than he would like to reveal.

I heard in episode that Spike wouldn’t want to sleep for another 1000 moons.

Which means if he slept 1000 moons, then he slept for about 83 years.

True spike was asleep for a while so it’s very likely he doesn’t know everything. Although interesting enough dragons this generation seem initially nicer than g4 dragons probably due to Spike’s influence. So while he was sleeping for a while, he was awake enough to influence the current gen.

There’s still no indication who died first. Also Meghan made that tweet before Season 3 was even over and she was honestly talking out her ass half the time. She was only 1 writer out of lord knows how much. I doubt her input had any bearing. Plus, there’s no reason to think he was implying she is dead. He was in a thousand year slumber. If she’s alive he just doesn’t know where she is. There’s been no hint so far that she’s dead.

Would have been funny if he said a different name.

I wonder who the other ponies remind him of.
