You know what? That’s my headcanon now. They’re stepsisters.
Probably not, unfortunately, but if Diamond Tiara is going to get some actual character development in S5, anything’s possible.

That awkward moment when you’re publicly hogtied and you’re “into” that kind of thing.
I still feel like most if not all of the blame in this episode should go to Snips and Snails.
They never did “heckle” Trixie; AJ and Rarity complained about her, but that was between themselves. Rainbow Dash was the only one who booed the stage and smacktalked Trixie directly; the others only joined in after Trixie squelched Dash, and from that point on it was all just banter. TGAPT was a carny, she clearly knew how to handle uppity rubes, and put the lot of them in their places like a pro; she just effed up when she picked the wrong Unicorn to “volunteer”.
Not all bondage is for dirty purposes, some is just intended to keep someone from moving while you get on with your life.
She’s basically a carnie. Carnies would routinely call out and quickly humiliate hecklers to shut them up so they could get on with their act.
But a true showman doesn’t act like a dick.
