Who knows where Vinyl’s taking Octavia, or even where they’ve come back from? And what are the odds that suitcase is just full of glasses and pink bow-ties!
I initially drew this as a very rough sketch when I was travelling on the Tube just over a week ago, when travelling in-between Victoria and Euston. An awful lot of painstaking hours using the annoying vector system in GIMP, and here we are! This marks the first time I’ve ever used a lens flare in any work whatsoever, and whilst I certainly won’t be using them in a hurry again, It does add quite a lot to depth to the piece, that and they actually fit in given the the circumstances!
Also, I hate GIMP with a passion. I drew all the vectors perfectly in the programme, and then when it came to adding colour it left a small yet noticeable white fuzzy edge around all the line work I had done, and nothing could rectify it!
