Cinch was the main reason Twilight was in the games, and the Shadowbolts did at least take responsibility for what they did wrong afterwards, unlike Cinch.
The Shadowbolts did earn Twilight’s forgiveness by helping her get payback on Abacus Cinch, which happened in this comic from the same commissioner.
Twilight is really forgiving.

I would liked to have seen more of the Dazzlings and the Shadowbolts (with Sci-Twi staying at Crystal Prep and getting a better life there instead). But it’s a shame the Hasbro higher ups wanted them kept off screen as much as possible to keep the Mane 6’s toys selling. Sunset’s past with her first coming to Canterlot High and meeting Flash, as well as her human counterpart showing up should have been explored more too.
