I would love any sort of story about Misty’s struggles, I really relate to her and her whole verbally abusive parent figure situation. And her trouble getting friends. She’s just a sweet character I relate to. I’d over for her to work through problems and find a happier life

You can consider Misty’s circumstance canon and happening in the background during this story. I put her looking through the window to show that she wishes she had that kind of support, and not a parental figure who was doing terrible things to her.

I have to admit, I’ve been wanting to make this sort of story for a while now, and when someone brought up Sunny’s thinner-than-the-other-ponies TYT design in a4chan thread, it was finally my chance to do it. If I had a choice, and it wasn’t by chance, I would have probably made this story about Scootaloo, Spike, or Misty. I am actually the anon who made this picture a couple of months prior. At one point I thought Sunny’s disorder would flip and she would become obsessed with gaining weight. That would be bad. But ultimately, being overweight will kill you eventually, while being that level of underweight will just kill you.

Her relationship with somepony else seems to be improving as well.
