Actually, he tried to ignore it, but the trolls were taking it too far, even harassing Creber’s family over it, I hear. It’s a li’l hard to ignore when they go that far… (And to be fair, he did start ignoring it, and his friends did, as well after defending him, and helping quell those nasty rumors.)
Also, blaming it on him, is like saying it’s the person who stomped the bag of burning poop’s fault, and not the jerks who left it there. I don’t understand that logic, or why people like you try to blame him for it.
Ironically, as somebody here pointed out before, he’s now engaged to a woman OLDER then himself.

It only spread as far as it did because he let it get to him like a moron. Had he not fed the trolls by responding to the images personally, it wouldn’t have gone past a single image that everyone ignored.
It’s just an unfunny meme some started about him… (Which isn’t true BTW.) I felt sorry for Mando about that actually.

Bboifatz, I’m sure it would make them feel pretty bad inside, but they’re not going to tell anybody. It’s like that guy in a bad part of the city where he sees someone being mugged, and they just walk by, saying to themselves “I really should help, but I really don’t want to get involved.”

Exactly. When you smear someone’s reputation like that, it can be very damaging. That is one of those things that should not be joked about, because it can shut a loot of doors for that person’s life. Imagine of you found out you were on a government list just because a bunch of troll made it impossible to Google your name without seeing pedophilia rumors about you?
I wonder, would the trolls feel like they had gone top far off they ended up getting someone shipped off to Guantanamo Bay based on shit they wrote on 4chan, or would that just make it funnier to them?

Agreed, I always felt the whole “Mandopedo’” gag was never funny, stupid, tasteless, and people shouldn’t joke about that kinda thing, or spread rumors like, “Oh this is guy is a pedo’! lolz” That’s not a joke, people labeled as such, can get black-listed, or have it hard getting a job IRL, due to rumors like that. It’s not cool, because it could possibly mess up his IRL life, or reputation.
It’s more than just mean, it’s idiotic, insensitive, irrational and spineless! There’s not even any logic to it!

Not to forget those images were Fausticorn gets brutally raped. Lots of shitstorm to remember. Though they were actually pretty distasteful when you think about it.
I don’t remember that, but I do remember the shitstorm a year or so ago about someone drawing sexy artwork of Fausticorn. It got taken down REAL fast after word got out.
Of course there is, anything notable that happens in the fandom MUST have drama. I’m pretty sure it’s in the fandom handbook, not sure what section, but I’m fairly sure it’s cross-referenced under ‘morons’.
