Twilight is just comedy gold because she’s such an easy target. She’s very knowledgeably smart, but she also lacks common sense and panics at the drop of a hat, so it’s very easy to have her get herself into scenarios no other character would be dumb enough to get into because she knows she’s too smart to get into those scenarios, if that makes any sense. Like this bit: no other character would have been dumb enough to fall for that, but because Twilight is so smart and analytical she just HAS to see for herself and stumbles right into it XD
