I’d say from a logic and design perspective, I think the left with the upright triangle looks better; I compare it to a pyramid, it’s stable with the base on the “bottom” where it’s not going to topple, as opposed to an inverted triangle which is unstable and gravity would make it fall over to a more metastable position. It’s the most common depiction of a triangle and what most people would probably default to when they hear the word.
Symbolically, the crown on top is more logical because it goes on the head, being the top of the pyramid. In an alchemy context, the upright triangle often represents fire, which holds many symbolisms ranging from ambition, courage, guidance, protection, knowledge, light, and you can stretch it to represent the sun (even though alchemy has its own symbol for the sun and the sun technically doesn’t burn fire, but that’s besides the point). In some sense, all these meanings can be applied to the original owners of these relics. They are also virtues that are sometimes twisted for personal gain, like how the relics are used to rob Equestria if its magic (I think, it’s been awhile since I saw the episode).
That’s just my take though.

The meaning of the inverted triangle and the positive triangle are different .And we also need a suitable direction to interpret this graphic.
