I understand. I apologize for the off-color comments; art thievery just drives me insane. I will be more vigilant about checking my attitude before leaving comments.

Although NeonFlare has already said their reason of inspiration, I still want to mention:

I feel that with hundreds of thousands of artists out there, there is bound to be character similarities and even doppelgangers with everyone’s OCs.

I thought your original complaint was about literally recolour, which can be seen by this artist has two different uploads with a different background and I thought you meant someone took their art and recoloured the background.

I didn’t think it was about taking design ideas from another OC.

The thing is, as I’ve said, with so many artists, similarities can be uncanny and can be a pure coincidence. I realised some of my characters has the exact look and design of other existing OCs and I’ve never seen the other OCs before.
It just happens.

It isn’t a coincidence and as I have already previously stated (directly to you) more than half a year ago, they are one of my inspirations. You seem to have forgotten, or hold a vendetta against me. I don’t appreciate the accusations, especially considering how long I spend working on my drawings. You’ve always the right to your own opinions! If you feel sensitive over artists using the influence of others in their art, that’s fine. But my art is incredibly important to my health and mental wellbeing, so it’s very disheartening to hear you call my art simple recolours of another artist.

Thanks for the feedback, even if it was put forward rather rudely. I’m always doing my best to differentiate my art from those I aspire to be. All the best to you.

Bugs me when people recolor other’s art without permission.
