Sigh, that’s rather simplistic. It depends on what’s being changed, what it’s being changed to, and also why. This needs more context to make sense.

That’s silly, if a change comes and it’s a detriment, it’s only reasonable to try to undo it. Putting on a tire that’s taller than the others is a change but I see no reason to accept it. Or I suppose another way of looking at it is “you’re okay with A change but when we want to change it again in another direction it’s suddenly a problem”. After all, if something changes one way and then someone reverts it back, isn’t the second person the one who now doesn’t accept change? If you’re trying to stick it in the first change you’re fighting for status quo.
Really there’s no way this quote works outside of “I want this to be one way so stop fighting me and don’t change it back”
