Description

*I heard a gunshot shot in the same instant that I felt a bullet tear clean through my right hindleg and another clang off the metal casing of the sniper rifle strapped to my back. I screamed in agony, collapsing to a skidding halt on the rocky ground, clutching at my hindleg. I was bleeding profusely through the hole torn through it. *

I really like the head shape, in your other works the heads look more rounded, therefore in my opinion cartoonish. Here it seems like the situation is much more dire.
 
Funny, how a little shape change impacts my judgement.
 
The more detailed stone wall and grass patches make the scenere definitely more lively interesting.
 
There is something simple, yet pleasant in your art style. Something very calming. Or maybe I’m just a sucker for flat colors, who knows.
