I still don’t know what @Background Pony #1C9F is worried about with creating an account for pony.town? I was recommending maybe making a throw away social media account, if they don’t trust them with their real stuff.  
PT only asks for an account name, and birthday, which is used to restrict access to the 18+ servers. What information could they possibly make money selling, and why is that a problem if they did? Pony.Town is a free to play game, with lots of benefits if they give it a try.

Yes, that’s part of the internet? A/S/L are basic questions when signing up for something, not like they ask for your banking info. They don’t have any affiliations with advertisers or sell your info, they only make money via Patreon from what I’ve found.

I never used ponytown. The account creation page looks like they’re gathering and selling personal data.

The only catch is the autocomplete suggests most visited sites first.
