That sounds like the definition of:

String is a material elongated into a flexible format with varying tensile strength and usually employed to bind or attach to one or more objects.
Are you implying that the strings got caught in the helicopter blades? Because if so then that also makes no sense since the strings would’ve just instantly felt down along with Starlight as soon as the balloons popped. There was no way for them to get in contact with the blades.
