You know, for a creature that’s apparently considered a monster by the locals, Izzy seems remarkably calm and collected here.
Either that or she’s just plain oblivious.
Maybe she’s calm because she had the good fortune to run into the only pony there who probably would want to be her friend, rather than treating her like some kind of lurking horror.

Would be funny if this is the first time Izzy appeared in the movie. No introduction or scene that shows how she ended up in the town. Instead Sunny is just walking down the street and suddenly there’s a Unicorn in front of her saying; “Hi, I’m Izzy.”

I love Izzy’s expression here. Sunny is clearly going “WTF?” and trying not to freak out, but Izzy’s just smiling calmly, apparently not even realizing the reaction she’s causing. Totally based unicorn.
