Saw this in the submissions and had a look back at the artist’s other stuff: really impressive. It’s sad that Hasbro never made show toys anywhere near this quality, despite literally being a toy company. Obviously there’s a sweet spot in terms of cost vs increased sales, but we could do so much better then the trash on the toy isles today. I got a few gatchapon toys when I was in Japan, just simple vinyl/plastic, small, cost a couple bucks each. Quality and detail blew American stuff out of the water. Really a pity.
