This picture was commissioned by . The request was in the same vein as some of the other transformation pieces that have been commissioned by me in the past. Take pony Starlight and turn her into a cow, first figuratively then literally. I’m not entirely sure if her poor diet resulted in her becoming a cow or the transformation resulted in her developing a bigger appetite. But in any case, the following description of the events were provided by the commissioner:

Day 1: Trixie: Did you understand what Spike was babbling about? Starlight: Oh! A free cupcake!

Day 2: Starlight: Nothing wrong with a snack now and then.

Day 3: Starlight: I’ve got to do something about my weight!

Day 4: Starlight: When did trotting get so hard?

Day 5: Starlight: Eh, I can work out tomorrow.

Day 6: Trixie: Look what you did to Trixie’s wagon! Use your magic to fix it! Starlight: Magic? Why would I know anything about magic?

Day 7: Starlight: *happily chews cud, waiting for her turn to be milked*
