Mlp movies aren’t deep at all, so of course they wouldn’t show anything. But for a toy that has these depictions, you’d expect more detail on them.
The inside of Tempest’s broken horn in the movie doesn’t show any details, so maybe a cross-section wouldn’t display anything visible aside from solid keratin (or whatever material horns are made of).
