There are several names for that kind of knife. “Hockmesser” is a German word for them. Inuit call them an “ulu.”

I miss the show so much
I learned a new thing from this: Mezzaluna.  
…a knife consisting of one or more curved blades with a handle on each end, which is rocked back and forth chopping the ingredients below with each movement. They most commonly have a single blade, but are sometimes seen with two or three blades.
 
A very useful too for earth ponies.
 
And um… perhaps we’ll take that knife-fan eviscerator machine away before someone gets hurt.
