Remember when the leak that gave out the finale also released a buncha scripts which also included the scripts for six specials involving Spike and Starlight getting memories for the book that they gave to Twilight at the end of The Last Problem?
There was also THIS screenshot, a scene that didn’t appear in the finale, but matches the scripts.
AND there was vocal footage of the VAs saying lines for one of the specials within the Behind the Scenes special.

There’s been no official statement either way regarding if the clip shows will ever air. It seems unlikely at this point, but Hasbro could still make some kind of surprise announcement or stealth premiere them somewhere unannounced. I don’t think they will but you never know.
If that’s the case, then why do all six episodes still say “TBA” on the original air date?

Given what I’ve read and seen about the clip shows, I think it’s for the best they weren’t released in the U.S. The clip shows seem like they intentionally went out of their way to pick the absolute worst moments of the show and ignore any of the good stuff.
I don’t know if we’ll ever see the clip shows on Discovery Family, and not because of the coronavirus. Discovery Family dumping the last three episodes into one Saturday night airing seems to indicate to me that they just wanted to be rid of the show all together.
I also stand corrected; the clip shows will now have to wait until the summer over here, since the May highlights have nothing whatsoever for MLP fans.
Well, I don’t know if Discovery Family is following the schedule that TadashiSatoru implied, but apparently they started releasing them on April 20 in Australia.
It’s a stretch to assume that means they’ll air these “clip shows” that I’ve never even heard of.

It really doesn’t. Just a few trolls who think it does. Check the info, chibi characters does not equal TTG. Chibi has been around for like, 30 years at least.
The G5 movie will have new characters not the mane 6 from g4 in a web telecast during the Hasbro toy fair presentation
Doesn’t seem like it to me from what little information there was. Keep in mind that TTG DID get the original voice actors back, but it only served to further infurate fans of the original Teen Titans to see the same characters be reduced to one dimensional versions of themselves. And while I’m all for not judging a book by its cover, Pony Life bares too many similiarties to TTG right now to be anything other than a placeholder and a half hearted way to keep G4 alive while Hasbro works on G5.
