She probably will be. If the idea came from Hasbro (using Lauren Faust’s original ideas), they won’t care much about what the production staff and the fandom think of a pegasus Pinkie Pie.

She kinda always was. One of the Wonderbolts in G4 was her.

That being said, since G5 is still in development, we don’t know if Pinkie will be a pegasus there or not. I hope she is though. I loved Lauren Faust’s old drawings of her as a pegasus.
