If my little thrown in advice is anything to help, making an apprenticeship is one extreme safe way to learn one job perfectly in practice and first work experience guaranteed.
@Kalash93
I’d be more likely to throw molotovs into the nearest university as punishment for extorting children than join “the slaves of the president” as I have dubbed them.
I fail to see what discussing your options for enrolling in college has to do with a drawing of a character being driven to debt slavery out of financial desperation. Oh, wait. Nevermind. Carry on.
There’s no shame in saving up, or doing an online program, or doing community college.
What Buggy means about draconian is that the interest rates are kinda high, and they only give you a few months of grace before they start collecting. They will get their money back. You cannot even escape it via bankrupcty, as there’s even a provision in legislation making it inescapable.
Now, I’m lucky enough to have damn well off parents, so this wasn’t a problem for me, but it was for many people.
My advice would be to look for cheaper schools and also push for scholarships. I had a $12K/yr total from different scholarships that made my schooling much more affordable. If you’ve been good at school, at least a B average student, it shouldn’t be too hard to get a nice smattering of scholarships.
Now, if you’re a fit person and really know for sure what you want to do, you could join the military and do an MOS that would be related to your desired career, like be a computer technician or something else. You do that for 4 years, rack up GI benefits, and also come out with work experience and some references. It can be a great thing, but you have to put up with 4 years of military life that you may not be at all a good match for. Really be careful about that as it is a big commitment and you will need to make sure of a lot of things that must be in your contract or you can and will get shafted. Ask about at FOB Equestria if you’re interested in that as I’m not in the military and that place is crawling with military people.
There’s no shame in taking a job for a while or even just getting some basic work certifications. You have time on your side right now, and that’s a unique advantage for your stage in life.
Even if you qualify for student loans via FAFSA, beware: there are draconian rules which apply to those loans, and don’t seem to be written with real human beings in mind. It’s hard to say ‘no’ to the amount of money they’ll try to throw at you, believe me.
That said, if you can afford to go to a community or technical college, or take an apprenticeship, by all means, do it. You won’t regret it. :)

When you have learned something cool so you post it on a pony picture website. Still and amusing fact. In reality dehydration would probably get him first there is and actual case of it happening. Though nutrients are important it sperm and seamen production its mainly water.
@FeatherTrap
I recently started taking a high school biology class, and I finally know what all this actually means… Fun fact: This would be less of a problem for girls since they won’t be producing sperm and thus don’t require as many nutrients.
