This new twilight is obviously based on our dear old princess Celestia.
I’m just so proud of her right now! And man does she look amazing!!
Seriously? Older Twilight’s ears kinda look like a smaller version of the average mare’s. I think somebody should make a comparison between older Twi and Celestia, to show people they only share the body model and that older Twi is not a recolour.
The problem is that with Celestia, you didn’t know where the front ended, it was all one piece. With Twilight the stripe makes it obvious, disrupting the flow completely. The mane shouldn’t have been that long.

The ears are the same, but the mane was carried over and this weird thing with the inside of her eye being an angle also stayed. >>2120126 (deleted) and >>2124718 show the pattern well.
Not recolour, they just share the same build. Mane/tail, ears and eyes are different-shaped.
I’m pretty sure at least 20 years have passed in the epilogue. The most telling sign of it is that the Cake twins now seem to be adults.

I love older Twi’s design, but I do have to say her regalia doesn’t look so good. The shoes look a bit too oversized for her!
It’s just disappointing. Oh well, maybe my opinion will stil change.
