I have a nephew who (used to, thank god) interpret ‘garbage’ with ‘you can take a hammer and smash this’ because thats what Youtube taught him.

“foul” language is in the eye of the beholder.

I don’t get this sentiment. My parents managed to keep the four of us from using foul language right until about high school (and, for me, even longer – there are still common profanities I just won’t say, and I don’t even know why I have that hangup).
