it’s the IDW comic issue #78, but it only does the transformations as one shot panel gags that are quickly retconned. the actual plot of the comic is… awful as usual, but some people can resist cringing enough to enjoy those comics.

She never did came out with a plan, but I trust it would have been better than “All of us will attack her from the front, and while we’re being slaughtered, Discord will flank her, taking her from behind and securing the kill!”
