Nah. It would have happened anyway. The phobic side of the fandom loves to pipe up whenever LGBT pride is mentioned.

the fandom is full of negative/unpleasant people because a show about friendship attracts people who are lonely and want friends, but don’t have them cause they are bad at friendship, probably, lol. Many aren’t really learning much though. It attracts people who don’t fit in and are often socially awkward outcasts but many just want friends and won’t realize that how they act is the problem. I was attracted to it cause I was a socially awkward outcast, but not the toxic kind.
