It obviously wasn’t. She’s carrying around the remains of the smartest (perhaps too smart) member of her previous failed payback attempt. It’s much more in line with her as a villain who’s lost literally everything and can’t let go of either her anger or that moment she legitimately thought she might actually get her revenge. I mean, don’t forget she was kind of going crazy alone in a swamp before they brought her there.  
 
I’m not surprised at all that she’s still talking to a log.
 
And anything other than that is just the same tired problems with object shapes and the usual people jumping on anything that even remotely could be made lewd.
