Uhh guys, can’t you talk about it somewhere else, and not here please.
Yeah, reminds me of how fans used to complain that the show “has become” the “Starlight Glimmer,” or “Twilight Sparkle” show.
Heck, in the Season 1 days, some fans used to hate the CMC episodes, and felt they were “ruining” the show. So that kinda thing’s been around forever.
I remember people saying that the students six were the new main characters both before and after the season even though they only had at most 6 episodes and that’s only if you count the premiere and finale
Yeah, that’s kinda how I feel too. Fans often dread change, but frankly, I don’t feel the show has changed much, even with it’s many controversial “changes.”
The only problem I had with spike getting wings is how a little it affected things which is a problem I usually have when the show changes things

That depends if someone wants it, as I once did with this.
I can kinda understand that, as I kinda felt the same way, but I don’t mind it overall, I just don’t think it’s added anything new to his character, aside from the episode it happens in.
Overall, Spike getting wings seems better received then Twilight getting them.
I doubt any more characters will be getting wings though.
Just for the record not everyone liked him getting wings I’ve seen someone say he’s now a generic dragon because apparently not having wings was the only thing making you different from the others
If you want to talk about the theme of the image, or meta issues like the fandom, use the forums, not artist’s images.

I don’t get it, why is it ok for Spike to get wings, but not Twilight? One character getting wings, “worse thing ever,” but Spike “needs them,” just because he’s a dragon? I don’t get it. Seems like double standard logic to me, no offense.

I actually take his wings as something that was needed far far before S8 hit online film stores.
